
The British Film Institute (BFI) have decided to make films from their archive (one of the largest film archives in the world) available on their YouTube channel: BFIfilms. At the time of posting the BFI had uploaded nearly 180 film clips, the oldest of which is from 1896, and shows people crossing London's Blackfriars Bridge.
And here is an oddity from the archive, a film dating back to 1968 starring the feminist writer Germaine Greer in a rather embarassing parody of herself prior to the publication of her international best-seller, The Female Eunuch:
